Decided a few weeks ago to get a smoker and have been on this site looking for suggestions. I like the idea of charcoal and sticks but feel it's time to go electric for some convenience and being able to use it more. Been looking at the Masterbuilt 40 but have a friend that loves the bradley. I have already bought the a-maz-n pellet smoker and perfect mix pellets on Amazon. I like the looks of the 2.5 generation of master built. Any advice is appreciated. Greetings from the great state of Texas!!

Welcome to the group!  I can'r help with the electric smoker, but lots of folks here with them.  Ask any questions and you shall receive great information.  Happy smoking.

Mike

I have that model MES and the AMPS as well. Smoking for me has never been so awesome or affordable. You're in for some good fun and smoked food.

I have the Mes 30, love it but wish I had gotten the 40. Been a great little smoker for me. You're already a step ahead with the a-maze-n. Check out "Bears step by steps", He uses the MES 40 and turns out some great Q! Good luck with your new smoker, David.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a nice chilly day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
