Smoked some ribs tonight. Used a rub a member here said was "the best ever"!

Cat was right! Bark was eh, so so, interior meat was good though!

Cat, didn't like it...

My cats don't like my ribs either!

Don't blame your cooking or the rub, we all know cats are lower life forms! Funny video!

I gotta blame the rub on this one! That cat is smarter than I thought. :icon_eek:

When folks on here ask me to try something, I usually do so I can let them know my opinion. He agreed with me, tastes great when you try it out of the shaker, but not so good on the meats. He didn't mention that he hadn't tried it until yesterday, so we both had some so so ribs.

But, I ate most of one rack and will finish the rest later this week... Very moist and extremely tender, just a bland rub that turns black...

Here's some ugly pics...

Hate to hear about your ribs, bummer.  You can scratch that one off your list.

Hey, CB, sorry to hear the ribs weren't stellar. Thanks for the video though! I love your southern accent. I don't think I will be able to be called a real smoker until I develop a drawl. You sound like as good a smoker as you are!
