Newbie to Smoking Meats

I already have a 22 and a half inch kettle smoker, and I just got a smoky Mountain electric smoker for Christmas. I have already smoked some chicken on my electric smoker, and am now getting ready to smoke a standing rib roast tonight. Hopefully everything turns out good. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
