Hey y'all. I'm Sean, from Saint Joseph MO. About 3 months ago I finally got tired of dried out restaurant smoked meats (and the prices) and decided to learn to do it myself. Since then I have smoked several pork loins and 2 briskest. I have an old chargrill smoker with the box on the side. It leaks like a siev but I love it. I have done many hours of reading on this forum and have noticed how polite and helpful everyone is. I figured I could throw in with you good folks, glean a little more knowledge and maybe even help someone out down the road. Thanks ahead of time to those of you who read this and comment. I am a newbie to this but it doesn't make me love it one bit less.

God bless

P.s. I plan in smoking my first turkey within the next couple of days and thought that could be my first post to share with everyone. I'm always open to suggestions.

Welcome from SC, Sean. This is a great site with lots of really good folks who are always eager to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe
