Hello All! I have been smoking meat for about 15 years and my only unhappy issue was working with a Smokey Mountain 40" gas unit that I have to feed wood ALL the time and worry about the gas level. I'm into smoking brisket, ribs, jerky, Turkey, etc. Expanding to fish next. So I want a new electric unit. 40" minimum and see mixed reviews on the Master Built. I don't care about the glass as I'm more like a set it and forget it type of guy. Just excited about not having to add wood so much and stay up all night. The conflicting reviews for the MB Says the wood has to be feed a lot. Wife made an error and bought me a 30" Char broil and that was like an easy bake oven for size, so it's going back. Found the older model (rear mounted digital display) 40" MB electric for 199... Looks like anawesome deal, yet unsure if the wood will be an issue. All feedback appreciated. Wanting to buy immediately and this sale price ends today, yet could be returned. Thanks in advance for your input.
