I did a 10 hour Pork Shoulder Smoke today.
I ate a couple of sandwiches before I went in to work today.
Sry bout that I was heading out the door so fast for work, I guess I forgot some details.
Cooked it on my Traeger TX Elite at 250 for 10 hours,
using a competition pellet blend I got from amazon.
Here is the link,
I got the pork shoulder ready the day before I smoked it.
I injected it with apple juice (before my kids drank it all)
Then I rubbed on yellow mustard then I put on my barbecue rub
then I wrapped it & refrigerated it till the next day.
when I got home from work I threw it on the smoker at 250.
I left it in the roaster pan uncovered & I flipped it over after the 1st five hours so I would get even smoke coverage.
After the last five hours I checked the temp & took it out for a hour rest at 205.
