Cooking a brisket right now!

Smoking a 10 pounder not too big. Trimmed and rubbed it down with spog and lawreys my smoker runs a little hot bc I dont use charcoal any tips on tending the fire for low and slow. I Want to cook at 225. With a clean smoke. Mop or not mop. I have some ajuis packets should I use them. I pretty much cooking at 250a t this point.

small fire with small pieces of wood. smaller wood catches faster and burns clean. Preheat the wood if you can.

Because the wood is small will I have to tend fire more often?

yes. wood fires need a little more tending than charcoal.

Coming along nicely I have 1/4 inch fat cap up could I baste at 150 it before the stall
..end result pics from others?

You can baste anytime. Just remember the heat loss when you do.
