Hey!

Received a new Masterbuilt Electric Smoker last week. Seasoned it and even make some amazing chicken thighs my first weekend. Went simple with seasonings that the family is used to and some Apple wood. Ended up having issues, it kept shutting off and would not stay on. I reached out to Masterbuilt and received a new shell the body unit, took me about 20 mins to swap out the electronics, door, etc... Currently seasoning it now and am not seeing the issue I had before.

I am looking forward to trying more and more things. Sunday afternoon I am planning on a pork loin roast to try it out the partial new smoker.

Been a big BBQ person for years cooking on it several times a week and decided to take it to the next level. Was hesitant since I did not like really strong smoked flavor salmon I have had before. One of the reasons I went with the electric is that some of the reviews mentioned a 'weaker' flavor which sounded good to me knowing my past experience.

First smoke was a success and I am looking forward to many many more.

Thanks,

R
