Smoking today for a meal tomorrow

Thread Starter

Busy schedule necessitates that I do most of my smoking on the weekend, and while that is a great way to spend the weekend, sometimes I crave some good smoked food during the week.  I'm looking for suggestions.

For instance, you can buy smoke pork chops at the butcher, that don't look fully cooked.  How are they prepared/smoked?

Any other suggestions where I can smoke, vac-pac and then re-heat in the oven or on the grill when ready to each.

Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions.

I cold smoke pork chops, steaks (smoker @ or below 40). Then vac pack and freeze for grilling ng later.

Pulled smoked pork and pulled chicken vac pack and freeze well for use later. Portion out serving sizes into the bag. Reheat in the bag in simmering water. Same goes for brisket and other cuts of beef.

Almost forgot, for breakfast these can be vac packed and reheated too. Freeze them prior to packing or they squish down. As mentioned you can use any type of protein and veggies
