Turkey Soup (screw up)

​Okay so here we go decided to thaw the carcass for soup.


Brought to a light boil then simmered a few hours.


Strained and pulled the meat off for soup and pot pies


Veggies added simmering away 


Needed bread not enough time Pop Overs I can make them


Toss some Pasta in the soup while Pop Overs are cooking


No shots of the soup bowls.

JJ I can't hardly type laughing so much about what I did not do. We ate the dinner it was great tasting just missing something. I forgot to put the Turkey meat back in . Richie

  Hey buddy; we have all been there done that!  Dinner party and you make that "special" dish and then when the meal is JUST about over you remember you forgot the wildebeest pate'.  Won't be that last time buddy.  Head held high.  Keep Smokin!

HA!  Yep, like others have said, we've all done something like that!  Jalapeno cheese smoked sausage comes to mind, without jalapenos though...  Yep, last year...
