Been smoking for several years out of an Oklahoma Joe wood smoker with great results. Neighbor carried over a Brinkmann Smoke and Grill drum style smoker that he bought and never uses. Said he would rather see me use it than see it sit and go to waste. I figured might as well convert it to electric so I can do that when I want and the wood burner when I want. Ordered the Brinkmann Smoke Shop Electric Converter Box from Academy Sports. Anyone use this? Reviews said it runs around 250 constant give or take a few degrees. Gotta admit firing it up at bedtime and letting it roll all night or all day without constantly watching a fire sounds nice. Hell, might even try it in the Oklahoma Joe firebox a time or two. Anyone else tried this?
