Hi I've posted about heating element and thank you for the input..
I've chosen the brinkman 1500w
That I'll run with an aub pid and get smoke from the amns for now.

I've started removing plastic from the fridge and am planning on keeping the fiberglass insulation for now. (Want to get smoking!) My question is so I have to remove the wood that is beneath the plastic trim? I'll be Putin metal angle over it and a sheet on the door.

I would for sure leave the insulation!  Is that wood or a Masonite type product?

its just a backer board i bet so they could cover it with plastic!  If you can get heavy enough sheet metal bent to take the door closing against it and the heat id remove it!
