I have a 7# turkey breast in my 40" mes smoker.I am using a Amnps smoker tray with cherry,hickory,and apple pellets. I was wondering how long I need to leave the tray in for the desired amount of smoke?
It's a matter of preference on how much smoke. For turkey I fill my AMPS half way. ( 1 and 1/2 of the rows with pellets.) And that gives me plenty of smoke for the bird.
