I cook them on my MES at 250 until the internal breast temp is 165. Then lets them rest on a cookie sheet with foil over them for 30 minutes before you carve.
Ok cool do you add any water in pan I was reading recipes on masterbuilt website for smoking whole chicken and says add 1 inch of water or liquid of my choice. But I read on this forum you shouldn't
Some do add water. Some do not. If you're vigilant about watching that breast temp and pull those birds when it hits 165 then you won't need water. If your still getting use to you smoker then add water to the pan. It keeps the smoking chamber moist and also collects heat and help stabilize your smoker temps.
