Checking in from Memphis, TN. Just picked this up from Home Depot and ready to get cracking!

According to my wife, I'm a master griller! Lol. Want to try my hand in smoking. The thanksgiving turkey will be my first time testing the waters. Hopefully, with the help of this forum, I'll become a master smoker! Looking forward to interacting here! God bless.

welcome and good luck.. read what you can and don't forget to season smoker and learn temps..then do something simple like a whole chicken or burgers at same time or what ever...when I seasoned mine I did learn about temps and when the smoke starts and of course smoke flare ups or fires...I use smoke hollow 44 and two burners so I had to learn about temp CONTROL and not get fire... I did start wraping in foil and holes in foil and of course mixing chunks and pellets and chips ect... I know you don't have time for all that so just keep it simple first big event..and you will be just fine
