Here's the build pics from my finished (almost!) double barrel smoker.  Rain has delayed everything a bit but let me know what you guys think.  I don't know how to weld or have access to a welder so the fab is a little rough, plus I inherited the top barrel for free so I needed to seal everything with some silicone.  I need to extend the air intake pipe lower to increase the draft hopefully, as well as add the smoke stack.  It's supposed to poor today so I have it covered with a tarp until I can sand and paint the bottom barrel.  Under the grates is a baffle I secured from an old removable ash tray that came with it.  I'm hoping the smoke will travel underneath, flowing over the meat, then escaping out of the stack right at grate level.  We'll see once I can fire it up how she burns.
