Well I'm finally getting around to buying my own smoker.  After doing some searching online this place seemed like a great place to ask questions.  I'm an avid fisherman and hunter up here and I'm looking forward to smoking my own salmon and game soon.

Hey Matt, welcome to SMF!  There are lots of folks here from Alaska and Canada who love to hunt and fish so you came to the right place to have questions answered.  Shopping for the smoker or putting the plans together to build one is half the fun of putting smoked protein on the table.
