Hey all I just got a charbroil cb600x vertical propane smoker, maverick dual temp wireless thermometer and a deer! Can't wait to get my deer from the butcher so I can start smoking. Might practice on a rack of ribs. Only thing bothering me was the lowest temp reading was 285 degrees. Will this be lower with food in it and water in the pan?!
