I'm a new member just checking in. I have been lurking for a while and soaking in as much as I can for my project. I've found more useful information here than any other source. Thank you all for the advice you have given others; it has also helped me. My project is an outdoor BBQ island. I plan on including an Argentine style grill, a smoker, and a pizza oven, all made of block and brick. Having a little trouble trying to determine proper dimensions and ratios for the smoker to have a good draw. Any advice on that issue would be appreciated.

Ferdy, welcome to SMF!  Glad you're here with a project in the planning stages.  If you give more specifics what type smoker you want to build that will help folks a lot; hot or cold smoker for example and basic design.

Sounds like you are on your way to having a great outdoor BBQ island.

Have fun!

Thanks, guys. I'm attaching my drawings. This is my I-want-it-all outdoor kitchen. No plumbing. Maybe some electrical. But for now just masonry. Trying to see how or if I should connect the smoker chimney to the pizza oven chimney. It would be a horizontal smoker with an offset firebox. The pizza oven will be from the Forno Bravo Pompeii oven plans I downloaded from their sight for a very reasonable $3.

Welcome to the group Ferdy!  Roll call is for saying hi, and there are areas to post your build questions.  Glad ya joined us and I'm sure you'll find lots of great folks and info here!
