Haven't used smoker in a while. Set it at 225 for 1/2 hr, put ribs in, after another 1/2 hr, digital display said 215, put 2 probes in, they both were 315. Set digital to 175, now keeping internal temp at 225. Is digital unit bad or is it the temp sensor. Masterbuilt says 24hrs before some one gets back to me.

I go by the temp display on my ET-733. The MES controller display is only for a reference. Surprisingly, it's fairly close to the ET-733 for much of the smoke.
