Greetings from Gainesville FL

Hi All
New member Nadine here. I am relatively new to smoking and just had an outdoor kitchen built including a free standing Brinkman (cheapy to start) electric smoker. Grill is a 4 burner slide in Blaze with a back burner/rotisserie. Looking forward to learning so much outdoor cooking! I just added a smoker box and a ceramic pizza stone for my Blaze. I hope to make this beast my go to cooker year round here in Florida. Cheers!

Welcome to the site Nadine.  Post up some pictures of your outdoor kitchen when you get a chance.

I spent quite a while down in Stuart and did most of my cooking out on the deck in my 22 inch Weber Kettle.  (No A/C in the house).

Will do. Thanks for the welcome. I've been near Stuart but not in town proper. I can't imagine living anywhere in FL without power!

While my mailing address was Stuart I lived in the fishing village of Port Salerno.   I did have electric power but the little cottage I was living in had no air conditioning.  The whole cottage was shaded by a giant Banyan tree and I was young enough that I didn't miss the A/C.
