Im new to smf just saying hi. Got into it from my work finleys who has wonderful bbq. Which inspired me to get a brinkmann offset 250sq in i think it was. Worked was hard to maintain temp. So i closed the wholes up and re seasoned it then boom it was like i baught a working smoker. I won my first backyard rib contest with this smoker....it was not easy. Mods.mods.

Welcome and congrats on that rib award.  Sealing up the leaks is critical to maintaining steady temps.  Good luck.
