Lurker from Michigan

Thread Starter

Hello All,

I've been lurking around here for about a year so figured it was time to join up.  I've smoking for about a dozen years now.  Started on a basic weber kettle, moved on to a chargriller smoker with side firebox and just recently built a reverse flow smoker (which is how I found this site).  Up until now, I've mostly done the basics (brisket, ribs, shoulder, etc...), but I'm looking to expand a bit now a the new smoker has provided much more flexibility and functionality (first try at bacon in process now).

Looking forward to continued knowledge sharing with everyone here.

Welcome to the board! We have actually been recovering lurkers from the 1800s out of Lake Michigan, they have a dense fine grain.

texas.gif  Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a pretty nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Gary
