New guy here from Fort Worth, TX...Just started smoking about a month and a half ago, using the ECB smoker...Excited to be here and hopefully learn more.

Back...hadn't been back on here in 3 yrs!
Update:
So since I've bought my first smoker (ECB), I quickly upgraded to the WSM, and have done pretty well with it! I have done just about everything on it, and am now transitioning over to a stick burner...which I cant wait to use! I am now using an Oklahoma Joe Longhorn which I bought used, and have modded to work efficiently.

Welcome back!! It's hard to imagine how many of us "grew up" using an ECB. What's amazing is that in spite of the very low price point they can turn out some really good food. The OJ will take some getting used to as you learn it's quirks and nuances, but between your WSM and OJ, you should be able to accomplish most anything from a BBQ perspective.

Let us know how the new smoker is working for you.
