Hello all,

I've been lurking here and elsewhere for some time, but finally decided to pull the trigger and sign up today, particularly due to a question about a mini WSM build I'm working on. I've generally avoided forums because I have a tendency to get bogged down in research and it's better for me to just "wing it" and go for it, but it would be nice to participate here as well.

I'm a backyard guy and keep it pretty simple. I have a 22.5" Weber OTG, and a SJS (soon to be mini WSM...). When smoking, I'm generally doing pork butts or picnics for pulled pork and chicken pieces, stuff like that. I usually do snake method or minion with KBB, as limiting the initial lit fuel has been the best way for me to control temps.

Anyway, thanks for all the helpful info I've read over the years, and glad to be aboard!

KM

Welcome from SC. Glad to have you on the site. As you have already learned, all you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
