Hello everyone. New member here hoping to get really good at smoking all sorts of meats. I'm off to a decent start with pork.

I'm in the metro Atl area with a Masterbuilt Sportdman Elite 2-door gasser that I got for Father's Day. Glad I put that needle valve on it. I also have a Charbroil 3-burner infrared gas grill that gets a fair amount of use as well.

I look forward to trading ideas and sharing in a good deal of tomfoolery along the way.

Howdy from the Left Coast! Sounds like you're off to a good start. The needle valve mod is a must have with gas smokers. If you are lacking in smoke look at the mailbox mods and the Amaz-N tube smokers. The tube smokers can work in the propane smokers without modifications, as long as your pit temps are below 300.

The search feature here works great so don't be afraid to use it.

Welcome from SC, Tod. This is a great site with lots of folks who are always ready to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
