There wasn't much meat left from the Paulina Messabout I hosted last weekend.

Just enough Tri tip for some french dip sandwees. Zipped it up a bit. Grill toasted some left over hamburger buns, butter and garlic of course. Reheated the Tri tip in au jus, which turns the au jus into a smokey au jus. Wasabi mayo, fresh sliced lemon cucumbers, and maters from the garden. O righta crispy seasoned frys. That's the PNW Tri tip dip!

ENJOY!!!!

Thanks Stan!

The PNW refers to Pacific North West style, as in I put tomatoes and cucumbers on my french dip!

Looks great, Dirt!  FYI, I noticed that Cash & Carry has tri-tip on sale right now for $3.35 lb, 10 lb avg.

I may have to wander over there to get some, and try out your sandwich. I do love wasabi mayo, also.

Yummo! That's a serious sandwich,friend!
Thank you!

I also smoked up two of those pork sirloiin roasts from Costco you mentioned. They were the hit of the potluck. Served with a sauerkraut, apple, onion chutney. Have just enough of that for a sandwee meal tonight!

Thank you! I haven't opened my hot sheet yet from C&C. sounds like I better head over there after work!

Oh man that sounds awesome! I'm glad you liked them, I still have 2 more packages in the freezer. Did you make the chutney?

Sure did right over the camp grill in a disposable foil pan. Just used a Honey crisp apple sliced, Walla Walla sweet sliced thin, Kraut, a cube of Tillamook Salted butter and a bit of cracked black pepper. Craisins would have been good, but we were roughing it!

Right on Case, you're looking like the Tri Tip King!

Great looking smoke and fun idea with the sandwiches.
