Cultures shelf life

I found contradicting information for culture shelf life: between 6-15 months (in the freezer). Specifically T-SPX and mold-600.

What are your experiences?

No one here with cultures older than 6 months in the freezer?

My cultures are stored at 15 below zero in the freezer... they haven't been in there 6 months.... just use them... make stuff... when they fail, they are done... I don't know of a test to determine if they are bad, except a failed hunk of meat.....
