G/M smoking meat family! Today I'm going to be smoking some Baby Back Ribs for Sunday Funday Football. I pulled the membrane off the back of the ribs, cleaned and dried the ribs off. Going to use some yellow mustard instead of OVO as a base for the dry rub. Not sure if anyone has tried the Jack Daniels dry rub before but, I'm going to give it try tasted pretty good! Smoker is up to temp going to get temps around 225/270 degrees. Today's fuel I started out with some lump charcoal and I'm going to add some apple and cherry wood chunks for the first 3hrs of smoke then wrap them up in alum foil with brown sugar, butter, honey and some apple juice for the next 1-1/2 to 2hrs, unwrap them for the last 30 mins to and hour and coat them with some open pit BBQ sauce. Thanks for looking at my post have a great day!

As always Happy Smokin'
