I was wondering how log do you smoke jalapeno or habanero for.

Just did some couple weeks ago. As in my post, 11hrs @ 160*/170*. All info here---

I don't go by time, I go by appearance. It depends on what result you're seeking.

 

Smoking peppers offers a lot of combinations of pepper and wood flavors. The peppers don't have to be hot, but they usually are. Smoked hot pepper powder is fun for sprinkling on something like a burger, or into mashed potatoes or squash.
