I've been thinking about my future build... We don't have that many tanks laying around here in Finland, and I'd have an access to cheap pipe with a wall thickness of almost 7/16".

Are there any other disadvantages besides weight with really thick walls? I know it'll take longer to heat up, but it should hold the heat very well once up to temp.

That would work... I'[d make the door out of some thinner material... Probably 6 mm or so... FB can be thick...
