Nothing goes to waste around here... Feet into the chicken soup stock... the soup was awesome... feet make a big difference in the broth flavor...

These were pretty good.... next time more spices and more hot stuff in the breading.....

After boiling in the pot for chicken soup stock... After pulling out the toe nails..... The toe nails.........

Bride mixed up some B-milk with hot stuff in it... seasoned flour concoction... into the deep fryer 325 x 4.5 min..... on the plate....

Waste not want not! Those look good it's amazing how much frying can kill off seasonings I wasn't happen with some Cajun fried chicken that soaked in buttermilk and seasoning over night haven't bothered to try again.

It's chicken feet around here also, Dave.  The only way I can get them is buying them through a market by the case.  Luckily they will keep them in their freezer for me.  Fix mine dim sum style.  Will explore your way.

I hope the butcher is a friend. Chicken feet here cost more than wings, than tasso, heck more that jerky per pound!

LOL, we have to pay more for the good stuff around here also. I don't pay attention to the price, just order it and close my eyes and open the wallet.

The butcher is a friend who I insure gets smoked salmon and smoked cheese to share with other employees.

I also pickle chicken feet, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in it.  Maybe I should change the recipe, don't know as It's hard to get someone to even try it.

Feet sure add UMAMI flavor to soup... thicken the stock nicely.... and they are pretty good encrusted and deep fried...

They would be pretty hard to hide in any dish...

Necks are $4.50 a kg in the regular markets,so with our crap $ thats a buck fifty a pound to you.

Mostly pitched at dog food market ,my collection of rescue mutts love them & the old dog with worn down teeth can't eat bones without us  standing by to do a canine version of the heimlich manoeuvre .

They make a great strong chicken broth ,all dark meat.Great for soups & risotto
