Just stumbled across this forum today & thought I'd ask the 'Pro's'. Been doing beef jerky for a while by using a dry season + cure. I let it sit in the fridge for a few days, smoke it with apple wood for ~45 min then dry it in the dehydrator 'til it suits me. My problem is that my freezer supply of Shore Lunch Jerky Seasoning is now gone. I believe it hasn't been made for quite a while. Any one have a dry recipe to share that DOES NOT use Teriyaki or soy sauce? I'm not a fan of either one of them.
