Just joined the group and I like it and all the tips and styles of cooking every one post . I'm a 43 yr old housing inspector born and raised in the South. If we can keep it on a grill long enough to close the door, We cook it at my house. For my birthday this year my wife bought me a 40 master craft electric smoker with a remote, I'm forever spoiled by the way it smokes .This afternoon I smoked my first Turkey , practising for thanksgiving day. With some tips from the forum it turned out awesome.

Southern boy, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and using your MES in a way that puts smiles on faces of folks at the table.  Congrats on the turkey.  Big hunks of protein can be intimidating but its actually not a lot different that smoking smaller cuts.  Looks like your practice session came out nice.

Have fun!
