New guy here! My name is Nick and I'm from Rochester, NY and been smoking for about a year. I just recently converted a fire proof filing cabinet into a smoker. I'm still trying to get a good grip on it(its a bit different from my offset) it is very efficient but has been leaving a heavy smoke flavor. My guess is not enough ventilation. Anyone else ever experience this and how did you fix it?

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a nice pleasant day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
