New York Smoker New to SMF

Hi, I live in NYC but spend my weekends outside of the city in Dutchess County where I love to smoke on weekends. I am using a WSM 22.5". I recently bought and attached a Smoke Guru Cyber Q. I have smoked approximately 5 full packer briskets, 3 pork shoulders, many racks of ribs and chicken wings. I have been looking for tips to get the most out of my smoker and produce far better Q than a friend of mine using an electric smoker. I plan on doing another brisket and pork shoulder next weekend for Labor Day.
