Jeffs wings and 3 different types of ribs - Qview

On Saturday me and one of my buddies decided to smoke up some food and drink some beer. He wanted to do three racks of ribs with different seasonings on his barrel and I wanted to give jeffs wings a try on my barrel. I followed his recipe to the T up until the broiler portion.

The wings out of the buttermilk marinade.

Rub applied thick ready to go on.

"My boy Blue" getting up to 325 and my buddy's pit barrel cooker smoking ribs in the background.

I brought the wings to 170 and pulled them off and rolled them in sauce. I didn't feel like messing with the broiler so while I sauced the wings I left the lid off the UDS and brought it up to 375-400 and tossed them back on.

Here is the finished product. Hands down some of the best wings I have had! Really tender and juicy. Will definitely do these again.

Here are the ribs. The pick of the sliced rib is with jeffs sauce. It finishes real pretty when cooked on.

Also a shameless plug for my truck. I got the wheels and tires put on the evening before and I can't stop staring at it haha. Now I know what people feel like when they have a kid and show a picture of it to anyone that will look at it lol. Have a good one and thanks for looking!

Can't wait for labor day weekend to roll around.  I am going home to visit the family and my brother is having a party so I think me and the blue barrel are going to do about 8-10 lb of those wings.
