Got 5 butts in early this morning. I have 10 racks of ribs going in around 11........ Smoking with the last of my pecan.......One butt and 2 racks of spares are for my dept manager at work,

Yep.. sucking up to the boss....lol

I see you are putting the Big Rig to work today.

You are not far from me in NC and I can be there about the time things finish up.

Should be able to follow the scent trail to find your Big Smoke.

Out of curiosity, what is the vertical spacing between the two grates in your smoker?  I'm building a smoker and am trying to decide on the spacing, I want to be able to comfortably put butts and briskets on a shelf without hitting the shelf above.  I'm thinking 6" to 7" is ideal, but I have to work within some other constraints too.
 
Awesome! I wish my employees and department managers made me smoke meat! Instead I am asked to bring PP to work for employee events! Best thing to hear is to bring it again because then your food was good enough!

Tired and wore out ( Cinnamon Jack Daniels) to post pics of the finished food last night but here are some snap shots...  Its funny the baby backs took longer to get done hence the darker color.....
