about to start a brisket - show i use mustard to help the rub stick? I use mustard for this on everything else. not sure why I wouldnt but thought i better check. firing it up in under an hour.
Yellow mustard works nice with no taste.I would use it lightly.
I'm not sure how the whole mustard thing got started but I've never seen the need for it or anything else for that matter. There has never been a chunk of meat that crossed my path that wasn't moist enough to hold the rub all by itself.
