I've got no idea what I'm doing. All I know is that my old man used to bring home these smoked hams when I was a kid, and I want more, dag blummit!!!
I'm from Cambridge Ont, Canada. I'm round about 50 years old, and I built me a flower pot smoker.
...thanks for reading.

It's a small thing. Only 12 inches at the top. The heating element comes out the side so there's absolutely no wiring inside. The blue wood chip tray is an enamel covered steel camping dish, and the black food tray is porcelain covered steel.
The element is from an older model hotplate that was made in Canada. It's 1000 watts.
Any suggestions would be appreciated before I fire it up for the first time on Saturday.
Thanks

Almost forgot. I'm going to make a seal out of foil wrap. I read that might work until I find something food safe and permanent
