Finished up the mod on my Masterbuilt two door today. Did a trial run with and without the burnner on. Seems to work great. The burnner does eat up some smoke, but very little. In the one pic the burrner is on high and pit temp is 350*+. Lots of TBS. Kinda hard to see, the green chairs in the background are hiding the smoke some.

Q-view is good , I like the top mounted version . You'll be very pleased with the change , at least that's what Farmer says...

Some folks have found that center mounted exhaust on the MB mod, the pellets will not burn completely.... It's due to "recirculating smoke" which is low in oxygen.... mounting on the end, with air holes in the door, eliminate that problem.... You then have "once through air flow".....

I added several 3/4" holes to the bottom of the mailbox, and I left the door adjar. I burned one row witch took around 3 hrs with no issues. After I cut the hole, I realized I should have cut it as far back as possible instead of in the middle.

If I have any problems in the future, I'll get another mailbox. It was only $12.00
