Myself, my brother and a friend are starting building 3 identical smokers, 1 each :)
This site with its endless info from some very knowledgable members and their builds is what we're going to be working off.
Smokers are pretty much non existent in Ireland.
Our first step was to mock up our design with a few materials I found in the shed.
Size wise we'll be using a 19.7" x 39.4" chamber
Large propane tanks are impossible to source here so getting 3 cylinders fabricated along with 6 disks for ends. Using 3mm steel for these. Cost of €140 per cylinder and 2 ends.
Firebox, going insulated, inner 16" x 16" x 17" and 1" Rock wool insulation around it to outer box.
We'll figure the rest out as we go but for now here's our mock up :) lol
I will need plenty of advise along the way but know I'm in the right place :)
