So, I smoked a butt yesterday all day at 225 - 235, got over the 140 mark in 4hrs so no worries there, my question is that IT of the Meat was at 180 when I went to bed at 10:00 - left MES at 225*  had power outage and smoker kicked off in middle of night, when I got up at 6am Maverick said IT of meat was 115. and smoker was at 80*

I placed it in a glass caserole dish, wrapped in tin foil and put in fridge this morning.

Is this still good?? I'm thinking yes but just want to double check.

The old adage "when in doubt, throw it out" works best.  A butt at $1-$2/lb is a heck of a lot easier to discard than an $8/lb brisket.

Since this post was more than 17 hours ago I suspect you've already chowed down on it.  Any issues?

I might not have served it to anyone else but I would have eaten it.  Then again, I eat off street carts in India and all over Asia with no issues sooo....
