Making a foil tray

Here's a trick I use, making a foil tray by molding it around a cutting board. The foil is 12 inches wide, and the board is 10x12 inches. A piece of foil 12x14 will overlap the board with 2 inches to spare, enough to form 1-inch-tall sides. A double layer of heavy-duty foil makes a pan rigid enough to use on a grill.


 
That's a great idea.  I should have thought of that method all the times I've cursed the tin foil for not co-operating.
