Me and my brother are going camping. We will probably catch some lake trout. How can I make jerky out of it, so we can keep it for 10 days unrefrigerated? I don't have any fancy equipment I'm just going to make a fire and put pine needles in it or whatever. I don't need precise instructions, But can you make smoked jerky with something after cooking it?
