A buddy of mine tipped me off on this forum.

Got a Traeger Texas Pro this weekend and smoked my first chicken EVER.  I feel like a whole new world has opened up for me. :)

I'm a computer engineer that needed a hobby that didn't involve electronics.

Look forward to learning a lot from the forums.

Thanks for all the welcomes!  This is totally new to me so I'm here to learn.  I work from home which helps with this hobby so the smoker is always in sight.

Today I've got a 6 lb pork shoulder smoking on Apple with a little bowl of water and apples in the smoker.  We shall see what happens. :)
