I am running about 10 months late on Roll Call! With that being said, I'd like to thank everyone here! I always find good advise and have learned more here than Google! I run a "Hill Billy" homemade propane set up built from a trash can (purchased for smoking). I probably could have purchased a pretty nice smoker for the money I invested on "Oscar",(that's what I call it) but knowing I made (and learned a lot) my own is half the fun! I hope to buy an electric smoker for Jerkey and preservation purposes (Oscar is more of a 225-300 beast) and to build a collection of toys! I think this just about covers it.
