Top sirloin butt

Never tried one befor wanted brontosaurus beef ribs but couldn't locate. My plan is to cover in steak seasoning bag it until Saturday inject it with ajus and smoke it with hickory. Now if I inject do I need to go to 140 also looking to cook something with it not sure about how many hours about it takes. It's 14#

Doing it Sunday. Brisket and butts today.

Are you injecting for additional flavor? I don't inject mine. We like ours on the rare medium rare side so usually take off the smoker at 130, wrap in foil and rest for 45min.-1hr prior to slicing thin for sandwees. Always comes out super moist and tender.

I usually inject my brisket with a au jus beer and kitchen bouquet so I figured it would go good in the top sirloin. Moma don't like it medium.
