Thanks Dave. I honestly could not have done it without the help from this site and Forum. Lost of great ideas, pictures and advice.

That is a sweet looking smoker, I love the bronzy look after you stripped it. It would look really cool if you could maintain that somehow (Do they make High Temp Urethane for Steel or something?).
1) How did you made the "Cover" for the Firebox Intakes? Did you bend the steel, or is it two pieces welded? I assume there is another piece that will slide inside there?
2) It looks like the cutout for your Plenum is on the left, and the Firebox is on the right, is that just my eyes playing tricks on me? I thought the Stack should be on the FB side in a RF?
Thanks Yeah the natural patina look would be cool but I'm sure it wont last long... Anyways the side inlets are one piece with a slide damper. I can't take credit for making them as I have limited tools. I ordered them from BBQ Smoker Supply for like $40 plus shipping. I could start to try and make look that good for $40....Then I just welded expanded metal on the inside.
The Plenum is on the side with the firebox it's just that this tank had so many valves that it was easier to cut them all out. I will plug that up soon.
Dave I think it will need one for better flow. I was thinking of 3 small 1'' holes with a slide cover. Do you think that will be enough?
Should work just fine.... Dave
