Awesome build!! I just started looking into these today as a possible next build. I have one UDS built and two more in the works but I think I want something bigger. Glad I saw your build as one of the first RF's I looked at, now I am inspired and ready to build. Time to hit the scrap yards and see what I can find.

Very nice work

Thanks Jon. It was a fun project, Good luck on your builds and look forward to the pictures. This is a great and very helpful forum and I think good pictures help especially guys like me with no experience in smoker builds.

That shelf is amazing.
Excellent work!
Thanks... By far everyone's favorite part is the wood shelf. I have always tried to do projects that I work on with a little twist just to make it pop. On this one once I saw the wood piece (after looking at hundreds) I knew it was the perfect piece.

Great weekend for finally getting to use the smoker. Did 3 racks of baby backs and my
buddy brought over a brisket. I made no promises on the brisket since I had never done one. Well I over cooked it just a bit, it was still super tender.
